The Great Oak
Good food, good price & very good service supplied by a very pleasant young lady.
Can't beat it for real ale
Four regular and varied guest ales plus IPA and Abbot. Some unusual guests from breweries local and distant. Nice atmosphere. Everything you'd like your local to be.
Excellent food and real ales, a little gem
This pub is a little gem compared to the others around south herts. Two regular guest ales usually Tring, red squirrel, buntingford or Brentwood, regular IPA.
Very good, exceptional in fact food all freshly made. Battered fish and chips, home made pies, burgers and soups. Try the fishfinger sandwich, perfection.
More than reasonably priced for the quality and freshness you get. Beers hovering around £3.20.
Sunday Lunch
Best Sunday lunch for miles! Great freshly cooked food and really good value! Have been going there for over 5 years and the standard never falls. You really must give it a go if you are in the area or visiting the Norfolk Broads.
Red Lion
The Best village pub in the whole world!
Friendly with good food
A very friendly and welcoming traditional-style pub with a good range of food - varied, well cooked and well presented.
Chris the landlord and Chris his wife make an excellent team. Children are welcome. Set in a quiet and picturesque corner of the village there is a pleasant garden for eating and drinking in good weather.

Great Pub with good food and real ale with friendly atmosphere
club to pub
This establishment is over priced for their food which is certainly not the best quality. The owner is boasts of using fresh Grimsby fish on a Friday but gets it in on a Wednesday
Highly recommended.
Excellent food, cooked to order. Service attentive and friendly. Good ambience. Clearly popular and you may need to book your table.
Meals
Weekday evenings are good. Sunday lunch was the worst ever, they need to improve Sunday cos there are other alternatives better locally.
